Bunzl and social enterprise group unite to create new brand

Social enterprise Amplify Goods and global distribution company Bunzl have teamed up to offer a new washroom brand claimed to be sustainable, ethical and socially responsible.

The RE:MIND range includes Vegan Society-certified hand and body care products said to be free from synthetic dyes or harsh surfactants.

The packaging of the products has been developed to exclude single-use plastic where possible and make maximum use of upcycled waste cardboard. They are also sold in refillable five-litre bottles - and at least 51 per cent of the profits from their sale are diverted to charitable projects.

Amplify Goods and Bunzl are claiming this to be a first-of-its-kind partnership. "We are proud to do things differently," said Amplify Goods co-founder Camilla Marcus-Dew. "Simply by enjoying a washroom product you're jumping on board the burgeoning social enterprise and ESG movement and supporting both environmental and mental health projects."

Based in Wimbledon, Amplify Goods aims to sell net-positive washroom products to businesses working towards net-zero and seeking to create opportunities for disabled, ex-homeless and underemployed groups.

Bunzl is a specialised international distribution group with operations in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific. The company claims to have strong corporate values and strives to improve operations through partnerships with communities and other stakeholders.

"Amplify Goods is the perfect partner for this collaboration," said Bunzl's UK and Ireland exclusive brands manager Amy McLauchlan. "We are looking forward to the years ahead as we scale this ESG industry-leading premium range."
