UK nonwoven wipes manufacturer Harrisons has acquired the business and assets of fellow producer Ecotech (Europe), which makes wet and dry nonwoven wipes for distributors and wholesalers.

This move marks a significent milestone for Harrisons, as it will be the first time in its history the company will offer wet wipes.

Stephen Harrison, managing director of Harrisons commented: "This is a pivotal moment for Harrisons, marking a key milestone in our growth strategy and a significant development in our 134-year history.

"It's clear that Ecotech's range complements our existing portfolio of products, so I'm excited by what's next."

Ecotech director Jason Lippitt added: "Joining Harrisons is great news and the team is already looking forward to the new chapter."
