ISS makes Switzerland acquisition

Global facilities services provider ISS has strengthened its market position in Switzerland with the acquisition of facility management business Livit FM Services.
Integration of the business is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2023. The moven will enable ISS to expand and develop its service delivery to the real estate industry sector, as Livit FM Services looks after a large proportion of Swiss Life properties in Switzerland.
ISS Switzerland will take over 670 employees and key account contracts within cleaning and technical services, representing around 0.5 per cent of ISS Group revenue.
André Nauer, ceo of ISS Switzerland said: "Livit FM Services is a well-established provider of professional facility services and, like ISS, has a presence throughout Switzerland.
"With their know-how, the experienced and well-trained employees of Livit will assist us considerably in creating significant added value for our clients."
"This transaction will help us grow in a key market for ISS within a prioritised segment," added Celia Liu, ceo of ISS Central and Southern Europe. "As part of our OneISS strategy, we are only considering acquiring businesses that align well with our strategy and where we see a natural fit to our existing business."
