Ecolab is organising a webinar entitled 'Think the seasonal flu is no big deal? Think again' next week. It will take place on Wednesday, November 11 at 14.00 GMT, 15.00 CET and last approximately one hour, including a Q&A session.

Seasonal flu/human influenza is a contagious respiratory infection, generally transmitted through human to human contact, accompanied by fever and often with respiratory complications. Each year approximately 10 per cent of Europe's population get the flu, resulting in time off work, losses to production and pressure and costs on the health and social care services.

Ecolab says its webinar will offer guidance on preparing for the flu season, providing proactive measures to help reduce risk. Other topics will include predicting the scope of the coming flu season, and tips to help you improve hand hygiene and disinfecting procedures in your facility.

There is no charge for attending, however advance registration is required.
