OCS to offer facilities management services in India
11th of July 2013OCS Group, one of the UK's largest facilities services providers with operations in over 40 countries, has entered into a business integration initiative whereby it now offers Total Facilities Management (TFM) services and end-to-end solutions to Indian clients.
The company has recently invested Rs. 200 crore (28 million euros) in high quality service providers in India such as Absotherm Facilities Management (engineering), Radiant Hospitality Services (housekeeping), Cannon Hygiene India (hygiene and sanitation) and Central Investigation & Security Services (security services.
This means OCS Group can now directly deliver core facilities management services such as engineering, cleaning, hygiene, security and other FM services to Indian clients without appointing multiple subcontractors.
The group's operations now employ around 22,000 people and it is keen to point out it is now focusing on job creation and skills enhancement of its employees.Chris Cracknell, chief executive officer of OCS Group, said: "India is a powerhouse in the global economy and the OCS Group reiterates its long-term commitment to this market through a single brand yet multiple business units. As the economic forecasts indicate an increasing demand for core facilities management services as well as increasingly high expectations from the workplace, OCS Group aims to become the preferred FM partner.
