ISSA/INTERCLEAN seminar will focus on healthcare

Cleaning association ISSA, co-organiser of the ISSA/INTERCLEAN exhibition in Amsterdam next month, is to host a seminar at the event dedicated to the role of cleaning in healthcare.

The seminar - entitled ‘Cleaning in the 21st Century: the Vital Importance of Cleaning on Healthcare' - will focus on the positive impact cleaning can have on reducing the risk and spread of infection. There will be particular emphasis on global hand hygiene initiatives, the WHO's Global Patient Safety Challenge ‘Clean Care is Safe Care', and WHO's engagement with the business community.

ISSA is working closely with the World Federation of Building Service Contractors in putting together the programme.
