IPC launches emission-free high pressure cleaner at Interclean

A high pressure cleaner powered by electricity is among the innovations on the IPC stand.

The PW-E100 is designed for use in environments where pollution arising from fuel-powered models would not be permitted says the company's communications manager Gabriella Bianco.

"Such environments could include food factories and farms for example," she said. "It is very unusual to have an electric high pressure machine rather than a fuel-powered one. And the PW-E100 is also available in stainless steel for more specialised applications where hygiene is critical and where regulations apply, such as in the chemicals industry."

The high pressure cleaner is rust-proof and features rubber wheels that ensure that no marks are left behind on the floor. "This is important in food preparation areas where hygiene is essential," said Bianco.

Also on display is the new PW-C45 cold water high pressure model designed to save water, energy and labour. Meanwhile the CT51 battery-powered scrubber dryer is billed as being effectively four machines in one with the aid of interchangeable brush-heads.

And the new SG-70 steam generator operates at temperatures of up to 180° and pressures of up to 10 bar, making it the most powerful steam generator in the company's portfolio.
