It is with deep sadness that we report the death of Colin Hasson, a much-loved figure in the cleaning industry and great friend of ECJ.

Colin enjoyed a long and successful career in this industry - at cleaning machine manufacturers Clarke and Gansow before taking up various roles within the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc). He was one of its greatest characters and will be very much missed.

A champion of the cleaning industry, Colin always took pride in his achievements and was highly respected by his peers and colleagues. Those who knew him well would consider him a mentor as well as a friend.

Our thoughts here at ECJ are with his wife, Gwyneth, and with the rest of his family.
